Children Under Thirteen
Mountain Made Product does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
E-mail Communications
From time to time, Mountain Made Product may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Mountain Made Product, you may opt out of such communications by emailing info@mountainmadeproduct.com.
Text Message Communications
If you give us your mobile phone number and agree to receive text messages, Mountain Made Product may contact you by text for marketing purposes, such as reminders about a cart you left open, a welcome message, offers and growing tips, and for order updates, such as confirmation that your order shipped, that it is out for delivery, and that it arrived.
What we collect. Your mobile phone number, the date and time you consented, the wording you consented to, where you consented (the checkout, a sign-up form, or a text you sent us), and a record of the messages we sent you, whether they were delivered, and whether you opened a link in one.
How we use it. To send the messages described above, to honor your opt-out, to keep proof that you consented, and to measure whether the program works. We do not use your mobile phone number to build profiles for anyone else, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.
Who we share it with. We use Klaviyo, Inc. as our messaging service provider. Klaviyo processes your phone number, your consent record, and your message history on our instructions, for the sole purpose of running this program for us, and is contractually prohibited from using it for anything else. Klaviyo passes each message to the mobile carrier that delivers it, and the carrier handles the number in order to deliver the message. Nobody else receives your mobile phone number for marketing.
How long we keep it. We keep your mobile phone number and your consent record for as long as you are subscribed. If you opt out, we keep the number and the opt-out on a suppression list so we do not text you again by mistake, and we keep the consent record for as long as we may need it to show that the messages we sent were consented to, which we treat as four years. You can ask us to delete it under the Right to Deletion section above.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any text message from us. You can also email jamo@mountainmadeproduct.com and ask us to remove your number. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase, and opting out does not affect your order.

External Data Storage Sites
MountainMadeProduct.com is powered by the Shopify platform and we use its services as well as Shopify-approved third-party apps to power our online business. We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Changes to this Statement
Mountain Made Product reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our website, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the website and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
